Babies don’t come with instructions. Get ahead of the game by learning how to care for your newborn before he or she is born. This four-and-a-half hour interactive course will cover newborn characteristics and daily care as well as concerns about safety and illness and when to call the pediatrician. Hands-on activities, films and group discussion will help your instincts grow as you navigate the early weeks of your baby’s life.

Taking care of a new baby and leaving the hospital to go out on your own can be very intimidating. Like all parents, you take it one “baby step” at a time, and before you know it, you are off and running. This is also a great course to refresh grandparents about what’s new or different in caring for a newborn.

Classes are held on weekends for your convenience.
