This year, the C. Edward McCracken Festival of Lights celebrates 20 years of brightening the holiday season for hospitalized patients and their families. During the intervening years, Ed’s vision has been universally embraced by the community and medical center family inspiring vital donations including trees and lights in memory and in honor of loved ones. The Event transforms the Hospital grounds, dramatically illuminating the main entrance with enduring hope and a spectacular fireworks display.

On this, the 20th Anniversary of the Festival of Lights, Newton Medical Center Foundation takes special notice of Ed’s contributions as a Foundation Trustee and the McCracken Family’s 20-year legacy of continued dedication and support. McCracken Family members continue to uphold their beloved “Ed’s” tradition by working diligently to enhance the Festival of Lights and the quality of life in our community. This includes steadfast commitment and legacy donations helping to insure that Newton Medical Center continues as a strong and vibrant source of compassionate healthcare.
