Overview
The Charles L. Tice Heart Center for Diagnostic Services opened to much excitement in October 2006. The Heart Center treated 100 patients in its first six months, confirmation that a center featuring diagnostic cardiac services was a great addition to the region.
The 7,000-square-foot, $7.2 million hospital addition offers patients a variety of cardiology services without having to travel long distances. The Heart Center is conveniently located near important diagnostic elements, providing for a state-of-the-art integrated system that channels patients through the facility without feeling like they’re in a hospital setting.
The Heart Center features six private bay areas with flat-screen televisions suspended on walls near patient’s beds. The Heart Center also has one procedure room, featuring the latest and greatest in diagnostic cardiac technology, a C-arm, and patient and family consultation areas.
Newton Memorial Hospital’s Board Certified Cardiologists provide a variety of cardiac services to you and your family. These include Cardiac Catheterization; diagnostic and interventional Peripheral Vascular procedures, Electrocardiograms, Echocardiograms, Cardiac Stress Tests, Pacemaker Follow-up Clinic Tests, Holter Monitor and Electroencephalograms.
