NEWTON – Newton Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Jason Hade, M.D., recently joined the staff at the Hospital as an ophthalmologist.
Formerly of Hopatcong, Dr. Hade recently completed his residency at the Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and chose to return to the area. Dr. Hade is a member of Eye Physicians of Sussex County, which is located at 183 High Street in front of Newton Memorial Hospital.
“Sussex County is a beautiful place with a number of wonderful physicians,” Dr. Hade said. “Given the close proximity between of Eye Physicians of Sussex County and Newton Memorial Hospital, this opportunity was definitely at the top of my list when I was looking for a place to practice.”
Ophthalmology deals with the diseases and surgeries of the visual pathways, including the eye, brain and areas surrounding the eyes. Dr. Hade is an expert in general ophthalmology.
Dr. Hade earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University. He received his Medical Degree from UMDNJ in 2004 and completed his internship in June 2005 at Overlook Hospital in Union County and Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morris County.
