NEWTON – Newton Memorial Hospital is proud to announce Brandon Ma, D.O., as one of the newest members of the Hospital’s physician family.
The addition of Dr. Ma, an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist, will greatly increase the community’s access to Otolaryngology care. His expertise will compliment ENT services offered by Warren Galeos, M.D., who has been on staff at Newton Memorial for more than 20 years and the only local provider of these services for much of that time. Drs. Galeos and Ma are both members of Skylands Medical Group in Andover Township and have privileges at Newton Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Ma’s primary emphasis will be on filling a growing need in the region for ENT services, such as head and neck surgery but he also will provide access to elective cosmetic surgeries. These procedures include facial filler procedures such as Botox, Restylane and Juvaderm as well rhinoplasty, limited facelifts and eyelid surgeries.
“First and foremost, I am an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor,” Ma said. “I came here to fill a growing community need in that area. The elective cosmetic work is just another service that I can provide to the community.”
Newton Memorial Hospital has also looked to fill the growing need for ENT services with the recent addition of Shashidar Reddy, M.D., to the Medical and Surgical Specialty Group.
Dr. Ma attended Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine where he became a Doctor of Osteopathy in 2003. He completed his internship, one-year of General Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford, Camden County.
He lives in Sparta with his wife Jessica and their three young children. Having grown up in New York City and married his wife who has close family ties to Sussex County, Dr. Ma said he chose to practice medicine in Sussex County to be closer to family.
“I call this general area home,” Dr. Ma said. “It’s a great place to raise kids. I have access to good schools and it’s a promising place to practice medicine. I’m very excited to be here and to do what I do best, provide quality Ear, Nose and Throat care to our neighbors and friends.”
