At Atlantic Health System, our goal is to ensure your wishes as a patient are followed directly should you ever find yourself in an unexpected medical situation. That’s why we offer Anna’s Angels – a group of nurses and health care professionals who volunteer their time to educate the community about planning for difficult health care decisions.

During a typical Anna's Angels presentation, a short video called "Anna's Story" is shown, which depicts what can happen to a patient when he or she receives unwanted medical treatment. The film is followed by a question and answer session with our team of experts.

This program will help you learn how to have important conversations with your loved ones and doctors and how to prepare documents that will ensure you receive a level of care consistent with your wishes and best interests.
