Advance Directives

Information obtained during the admission process will be kept confidential.

An identification bracelet has been placed on your wrist and is to be worn for the duration of your stay here.

Concerns or complaints about your stay can be directed to any of our staff members or to the Patient Representative at extension 8370. We hope you will give us the opportunity to resolve any issues before they become problems.

Once you are discharged from the hospital you will receive a patient satisfaction survey. We would like you to provide us with feedback for the services you received during your hospitalization.

 Admissions

Our goal is to provide you with very good care and make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.

As a patient of Newton Medical Center, you have a right to accept or refuse medical treatment and the right to declare ahead of time how you would best like to be cared for. By completing a document known as an advance directive, you can state your wishes or instructions should you lose the ability to communicate these wishes yourself. This document also gives you the opportunity to name a person who would make medical decisions on your behalf in the event you could not communicate your wishes to the medical staff.
