Newton Medical Center makes every effort to provide nutritious, delicious meals that are prepared in accordance with your doctor's orders. Newton Medical Center has a full staff of registered dietitians to meet your nutritional needs during your stay. They will provide nutritional consultations for your treatment in the hospital and after you return home. On your breakfast tray will be a printed menu for your selection of the following day's meals. Nighttime Nibbles (our after-hours menu) offers sandwiches, salads, soups, beverages and snacks. Please ask your caregiver for the menu.

For visitors with special needs we offer complimentary guest trays. Please call the Helpline at extension x5520 one hour prior to the mealtime. There is also a Hospitality Shop offering a wide range of hot and cold foods and beverages. Daily specials are offered. The Hospitality Shop is open as follows:

Monday through Friday - 7:00 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday - 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Complimentary coffee is offered in the Emergency Services Department and the Intensive Care Unit waiting areas. Vending machines with sodas and snacks are available near the Emergency Department waiting areas.
