Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy treatments are designed to restore function, minimize disability, educate parents and family, and manage pain with the end goal of maximizing independent function and comfort. Interventions include gait training with an appropriate device, such as crutches, walkers and prosthesis as well as exercise, balance activities, gross motor activities and therapeutic modalities to achieve a functional goal.
Many of the department’s Physical Therapists have specialties and significant experience in orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine and lymphedema treatment.
We provide Physical Therapy services to all ages, from infancy to geriatrics.
