CENTER FOR PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION:
Occupational Therapy

Patients utilize Occupational Therapy to promote recovery after tendon injuries, hand or arm fractures, upper extremity injuries, wounds, arthritis and neurological defects.
Our Stroke Rehabilitation program includes an initial assessment as well as treatment of visual, cognitive, self-care and neuromuscular deficits. Occupational therapists also fabricate custom splints and other adaptive devices to help patients compensate.
Occupational Therapy focuses on upper body function, fine motor skills, ability to perform daily living activities, perceptual skills, hand therapy, splinting of upper extremities and adaptive equipment training.
We provide Occupational Therapy services to all ages, from infancy through adulthood.
