To further expand its broad reach into the community and to provide greater access to healthcare services for residents of eastern Sussex County, Newton Memorial Hospital opened the Sparta Health & Wellness Center in 1998.

Services available include a regional Cancer Center the first of its kind in Sussex County, Newton Memorial Hospital Lab and X-ray services, Imaging Center, Wound Services, a Spine Center, Women’s Fitness, Women’s Diagnostic Services, including a Mammography Suite, Massage Therapy, Yoga, Diabetes and Nutritional Services and Psychiatric Care.

The site also features a wide array of physician services, including Family Practitioners, Pediatricians, Podiatrists, Gastroenterologists, Urologists, and Plastic and General Surgeons.
