Women's Health Center

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Women's Health Center provides obstetric and gynecological care to women who are in financial need. There is a financial screening process to determine eligibility.

If you are pregnant you should contact the office to make an appointment between the eighth and tenth week of your pregnancy. Your care will be provided by certified nurse midwives working with a team of health care professionals. On your first visit you can expect to spend approximately one and a half hours with the nurse reviewing your medical history and being provided with educational materials for pregnancy; you will also have routine blood work done at this time. Your next visit will be a complete physical with the certified nurse midwife which will include a PAP smear and cultures. Every patient also receives nutrition counseling and social services. Subsequent visits are approximately fifteen minutes and scheduled every four weeks for the first seven months, and then more frequently thereafter.

The Women's Health Center provides comprehensive gynecological care to women of all ages. As with the prenatal care, there is a financial screening which determines a woman's eligibility for the center.

It is the philosophy of the Women's Health Center to work as a team to provide our patients with the best health care possible. It is important to us that you are comfortable with your care and feel free to ask any questions.

If you have any questions about the Women's Health Center please contact us at (973) 579-8450.
